I am Kristi Midgette, a wedding photographer based on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I was born and raised on the Outer Banks and would not want to live anywhere else but right here beside the ocean.
I will always have sand between my toes and salt on my skin. I am fun loving, full of creativity, and am inspired by new love and the beauty that surrounds our coastline.
I am a daughter, a mother, a wife and a photographer all wrapped up in one. I photograph weddings, engagements, and families. When its not busy wedding season, I love taking portraits for locals including senior photos, maternity pics and headshots. Coastal decor is my love language and hydrangeas make me happy.

Though it may feel like in season is full of mostly shooting weddings and beach portraits, I cherish my spare time with my family and friends! Throughout the summer I go to the beach or out on the boat as much as possible with my husband and girls. Decorating our house in Nags Head is probably my favorite pastime and during the pandemic year I became quite the barista in our kitchen at home
