I had so much fun traveling to the beautiful historic city of Edenton for a bridal portrait of one of my future brides. Jessica was absolutely breathtaking and the charm of the city only added to the mood and beauty of the day. Wedding pictures coming soon! Enjoy.
Jordan then said, “Melissa I love you with all my heart, will you make me the happiest man in the world and be my wife?”
To which she replied, “Abso-freakin-lutely”
They hugged, kissed, and she put on the ring, holding back tears until she picked up the phone to call her parents. As soon as the phone began to ring, she burst into tears of joy. It was the best thing that ever happened to her.
Jordan says, “A wedding should be the biggest party you ever have with your best friend.” And that is what they did. They were married at the Methodist church in Manteo and had the reception at the Village Beach club in Nags Head. I was a fun time.

They both wanted to get married on the beach in small ceremony with close family and friends. The Outer Banks just seemed like the perfect spot! After several years of dating, in May 2010, Chris took Denise to Bay Creek Resort in Cape Charles, VA for a weekend of fun and golf. They both fell in love with the quaint town and the resort that fronted the Chesapeake Bay and that also featured Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus golf courses. They teed off on Saturday morning. On the 18th hole they teed off and chipped onto the green, which is where Denise found the ring box, sitting in the 18th hole. That’s when Chris proposed. How romantic and clever! They exchanged their vows on the beach in front of the Sanderling Resort with a small intimate reception following at the Lifesaving Station Restaurant.

What an awesome couple. Meghan and Jack met at the Brewing Station many years ago among friends. So we thought it would be really neat if we spent some time photographing in the bar and outside of the brewing station. I love the look of these. We proceeded on to Jockeys Ridge for some sunsets shots. Breathtaking! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this weekend.
Liz and Seth were such a fun couple to work with. Liz is a nurse and Seth is a computer guru as you can see here the shoes he designed for the wedding. So cool I thought. Love them. Their wedding colors were so vibrant and really popped. The hoopa was so fabulous thanks to Renee Landry with Blooms. The couple has been together for 8 years all through school and finally decided to make it official. You could see how much fun they have together the way they laughed and joked the entire day. The wedding was at a beach house in Pine Island and was breathtaking. Liz you were amazingly beautiful and Seth what a stud in your new kicks!
Vendors: Black Pelican catering, Blooms Florist, Great Cakes, Rev. Jay Bowman, Metro Rental and Bombshells Studio for makeup
