A.J. Dunlap ~portrait
I traveled to Raleigh last week for a 1st Annual Raleigh Pug head shot exchange. PUG is a large group of photographers that get together regularly to learn and grow with each other. I had so much fun shooting fellow photographer A.J. She looked so beautiful. It’s not always easy to be on the other side of the camera when your used to being behind it. I hope my shots turn out ok.
Here is a few images from a bridal portrait session from last week. I can’t wait to photograph Ashley’s wonderful wedding on May 1st. What a gorgeous bride she is.

You can tell Spring is here finally! I had a beautiful day for a wedding last weekend. Here are a few favorite shots. I absolutely love love the red shoes. The bride said, “It takes a strong woman to wear red shoes.” I agree.
“Kristi refused to let us rush so much that moments of beauty were lost. Even before I saw the photos I knew she was talented. After I saw them I realized truly how gifted she is. Kristi didn’t capture our wedding, she captured us and that meant even more. Looking at her photos I realize it’s not the day that makes us who we are but rather who we are that made that day what it was. I look at our photos every day and I am instantly once again on that Carolina shore. There is no price that can be put on that.” Thanks Jenn, you are so sweet.
Carissa and LaMont were married at the Saltaire House in Duck, NC and was chosen as one of the real weddings published in this years Outer Banks Bride Magazine! What a wonderful couple. The food was out of this world as always by Culinary Magick. Nannette Kallestad with The Proper Setting made the wedding go off as smooth as silk. The flowers could not have been any more spectacular thanks to Bells and Whistles. Cake by Atlantic Cake Company and Violinists provided by OBX Violin. As always it was fantabulous working with all of you wonderful vendors and what a beautiful place to have a wedding.
