After having to reschedule their wedding due to Covid, this couple scaled down the guest list to meet Covid safe requirements at their venue. Still this didn’t feel like a smaller than normal wedding. The reception was full of porcelain ginger jars, most from the mother’s personal collection, that held beautiful moody blooms and wood bead tassel garlands. A modern take on these vintage collectables, the wedding was coastal and polished. Cocktail hour was held right on the sound with a full bar and lounge area for guests to enjoy the views, and dinner was under the lights and hanging baskets on stage at Roanoke Island Festival Park. This open air venue was perfect for 2020/ 2021 weddings with it being open air and spacious yet intimate and covered from weather.
